What is axe throwing?

Axe throwing is like darts, but way cooler — you throw real axes at wooden targets in a safe, supervised environment. Beginners welcome, adrenaline guaranteed, and bragging rights optional.

Think of it as therapy with a sledgehammer. Smash, break, and throw stuff to your heart’s content — without cleanup or judgment. We provide the breakables, tools, and protective gear; you bring the fury.

Is axe throwing safe?

Absolutely. Our Axeperts give you a safety briefing, show you the ropes, and make sure your throws stay on target. Closed-toe shoes required — and yes, that includes sneakers.

Do I need experience to try axe throwing or a rage room?

Nope. Most guests are total newbies. We’ll show you how to throw, smash, and survive your first session without losing a finger (or dignity).

Are there age restrictions?

Guests under 18 need a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Axe throwing is recommended for ages 10+. Younger kids can join the fun with suction-cup targets, Velcro sets, or other kid-friendly games. Rage room guests under 10 must be with a parent or guardian at all times — safety first, chaos second.

Is TN Axe and Smash good for date night or first dates?

Oh yes. Forget boring dinners. Throw axes, smash things, and compete for laughs — awkward small talk optional. It’s energetic, memorable, and maybe the only place where flirty destruction counts as bonding.

Is the experience competitive or more laid-back?

Both! Playful competition encouraged, but no pressure. Laugh at your own bad throws, cheer each other on, and maybe shame your date a little — all in good fun.

What makes TN Axe and Smash different from other things to do nearby?

We’re Murfreesboro’s only rage room and laid-back axe venue. No stiff competition, no stuffy rules — just a place to have fun, relieve stress, and make memories. Bonus: your friends might leave with smashed TVs and a story they’ll never forget.

Is TN Axe and Smash good for group events or team building?

Yes! Perfect for parties, team-building, or just bonding over controlled chaos. Axe throwing sharpens skills, rage rooms release stress, and everyone walks out talking about the epic fun they just had.

Can we hang out after our session?

Sure thing. Bottled beer is available for guests 21+, and many people stick around to play games, relax, and watch the action.

A LITTLE CHAOS DOES YOU GOOD

Let's be honest. Dinner and a movie are fine, but sometimes you need to throw an axe, smash a bunch of stuff, and remind your friends who's boss at something other than arguing over the restaurant bill.

Welcome to TN AXE & SMASH, Murfreesboro's not-so-hidden gem for indoor fun with a little extra attitude. Just a short drive from Nashville, we're Middle Tennessee's destination for axe throwing, rage rooms, and a whole lot of good times. Take aim in our interactive axe-throwing lanes, unleash your inner demolition crew in our rage rooms, challenge your friends to billiards and games, and settle in with good food and drinks. It's the kind of place where an ordinary night out turns into a story you'll be telling later.

Smash stuff. Throw axes. Stay awhile.

And we're not just about the action. Grab a beer, cider, margarita, or your favorite nonalcoholic drink. Fuel up with pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, and other snacks. Challenge your crew to Hammerschlagen, boxing, and other arcade games, or enjoy complimentary favorites like billiards, darts, and bar games. Prefer a slower pace? Grab a drink, kick back, and hang out. There's room to play, room to relax, and plenty of reasons not to rush home.

Never thrown an axe? Never smashed a thing? Perfect.

You don't need experience, athletic skills, or an unnecessarily competitive attitude to have a great time here. We're not an intimidating league-bro hangout, and nobody expects you to be a professional axe thrower. Our Axeperts will get you started, show you the ropes, and help you get comfortable. Just bring your people, wear closed-toe shoes, and come ready for a good time.
