FREQUENTLY AXED QUESTIONS

ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY! We have big screens usually playing a variety of sporting events, music videos, retro cartoons, axe throwing tournaments, or movies; an awesome bar serving up in-demand drinks, fresh popcorn and hot dogs; a billiards table you can play for free with the purchase of a drink; AND we regularly host fun parties, movie nights, game nights, and other special events! It’s not all Axes and Rage…we have some chill, too! Please note that spectators in the axe throwing area will have to sign a waiver.

League games are played one-on-one, and each player gets five throws. Each throw is worth between one to five points, based on accuracy. The highest score wins. The best of three games wins the match.

It's wise to book in advance; however, we do accept walk-ins for smaller groups. Check out our schedule for availability or give us a call before you head down to see if space is available.

Something comfortable to move around in is best, for full range of motion! EVERYONE MUST HAVE CLOSED-TOE SHOES TO PARTICIPATE! We will provide coveralls, hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves for the rage rooms.

We supply targets, axes, and an axe master (coach). We also supply everything you need to RAGE OUT! All you need to bring is a good attitude and a lot of energy.

Anyone is welcome to try our axe throwing in Murfreesboro, TN! However, if you are under 18 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will watch (or join!) the group and sign a waiver. In our experience, young children under the age of 8 do not have the strength to throw an axe hard enough at the target. So, we made special arrangements for them! We have special suction-cup archery targets we can hang in one of our axe lanes for the kids to practice their aim.  Our state-of-the-art interactive games like Zombie Hunter and Tic-Tac-Toe work on these special targets and are perfect for kids and teens, making it a delightful experience for the entire family. We also have plastic and velcro axe and target sets available.

Please be respectful and cancel your appointment either online or by calling the store with at least 24 hours notice. For private events, we have a cancellation policy outlined in the agreement you’ll sign—up until 30 days prior to the event you receive a full refund, and amounts are pro-rated as the event approaches after that point.

We have beer and canned cocktails, along with hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, and individually packed snacks. As a general rule, we don’t allow any outside beverages or food. We have large-scale seating and table accommodations for up to 150 people. If you’re booking an event and would like to discuss catering options, please email us at sales@tnaxeandsmash.com. If you’re celebrating a birthday or special occasion, cakes and cupcakes are allowed (unfortunately no ice cream cakes). Just make sure to bring all the utensils you need to share with your group!
